On a crisp morning in Central Park, I had the honor of welcoming baby Abraham into the Jewish community. It was an intimate and heartfelt ceremony, surrounded by love, tradition, and the joyful anticipation of what his future would hold.
On the eighth day from his birth, we gathered to bless Abraham and perform his baby naming. Due to COVID, precautions were taken to ensure his safety. Some guests wore masks, particularly since he had yet to receive many of his vaccines. Despite these small adjustments, the love in the air was palpable! This was a family committed to honoring tradition while protecting its newest member.

Not all of Abraham’s loved ones could be physically present. Family members from Chicago and Dallas joined us via Zoom, ensuring that no distance could keep them from witnessing this sacred moment in Abe’s Jewish journey.
